A NEW MODEL is a free exhibition featuring the work of 12 artists that Mona Matsuoka has befriended during her tenure in New York, teens in Tokyo, on the fashion week circuit, and beyond. Mona’s fresh perspective on what’s cool is evident in every facet of her life. The Kollection’s curatorial lead, Finlay Mangan, has contributed his taste and touch to tie a bow on the presentation, guest flow, and messaging of our debut physical-art-first presentation.
The Kollection team will be on site helping facilitate sales with each artist direct. The event will take place on the untouched 5th floor of 53 Scott— full gratitude goes out to SAA Brooklyn and Associated NYC for helping bring this to life at their space.
Friday, August 23rd, will be a gallery opening format.
The gallery will be open for walkthrough through the 26th.
